Summer Cushions

Cushions Galore, July 2012 -- Summer Cushions

July 5th 2012

Hello and welcome to new subscribers in July.

Summer is here and that brings beautiful flowers and their colours into full glory.

It is a time to take cushions outside for your picnics and barbecues to make the outside seating comfortable. With the Diamond Jubilee having taken place and the Olympics still to come then your outdoor feasts could be turned into a celebration with some red, white and blue bunting .

As we all know the weather can be a well talked about topic so if you outdoor activities have been curtailed a little you can always bring the outdoors in. There are many fabrics that reflect the blooms and colours of the summer. Picnics can also be brought inside so the celebrations need not suffer.

Travel cushions can be taken with you wherever you go. Whether it is to sit in the park, in a tent, caravan or boat or on your way to your destination in the car. A small cushion can make travelling a bit more comfortable.

New pages this month

The page on Summer has been added and I have done a new page regarding advertising on my site after I received a query from a retailer.

After I had completed that page I then published a Best Cushions page where other people can give their views on cushions they have either bought or made. My first advert was from Dunelm Mill and they wrote an article about bean bags.

My host site Site Build It has updated a lot of their background works and even though it is not visible I shall need to re-learn a few things to enable me to publish pages on the updated version.

Coming up next time

My next newsletter will be September 2012. Enjoy watching or attending the Olympics. I will try to do a page on picnic sets and another patchwork design.

Enjoy making your cushions.
